Hurricane Swim Club is Hiring Swim Instructors for Summer Lessons in Covington, LA

As a Swim Instructor at Hurricane Swim Club, you will be responsible for leading swim programs and offering both individual and group lessons tailored to children of all ages and skill levels. This position is perfect for students who have a strong love for swimming, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to motivate young swimmers while promoting water safety. We are currently seeking a dedicated and motivated Swim Instructor to join our team at Hurricane Swim Club in Covington, LA.

Responsibilities
• Provide swim instruction to students of all ages and skill levels
• Ensure a safe and positive learning environment for all students
• Monitor and assess student progress, offering feedback and guidance when necessary

Requirements
• Experience working with students of all ages and abilities, preferably in an educational or instructional setting
• Strong swimming abilities and knowledge of various swim strokes and techniques
• Comprehensive understanding of water safety and survival skills
• CPR & First Aid Certified (infant, child & adult)
• Excellent communication, organizational, time management, and creative teaching skills
• Effective behavior management skills and the ability to handle challenging situations calmly and professionally
• Previous experience in childcare or sports coaching is beneficial
• A genuine love and passion for swimming and working with children
