Job Description
As a Swim Instructor at City Of Lafayette Aquatics, you will lead swimming programs and provide tailored lessons for children of all ages and skill levels. This position is perfect for students with a love for swimming, strong communication skills, and the ability to inspire young swimmers. Currently, we are seeking a motivated Swim Instructor to join our team in Lafayette, LA.
Responsibilities
• Provide swim instruction for all age groups and skill levels
• Create a safe and positive learning environment
• Monitor student progress and offer feedback
Requirements
• Experience working with students of all ages and abilities
• Strong swimming skills and knowledge of various strokes
• Background in water safety and survival
• CPR & First Aid Certified (infant, child & adult)
• Excellent communication, organizational, and teaching skills
• Ability to manage behavior and handle challenging situations
• Experience in childcare or sports coaching is a plus!
• Passion for swimming and working with children
